National Association of Purchasing Management – San Fernando Valley's
12th Annual Supplier Night

NAPM-SFV hosted our twelfth annual Supplier Night and trade to support our Scholarship Program. One goal of Supplier Night was to offer members and guest an opportunity to network with 50 - 100 top local suppliers. The event was held, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Odyssey Restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Dr., Granada Hills, CA 91344
As in prior years, Suppliers displayed their products or services and networked with members and guests who were professional buyers and supply chain professionals. Dinner wasprovided and there were fabulous door prizes, all for just $10. This event provided attendees the opportunity to meet with many suppliers and gain industry knowledge, competitive advantage, new ideas, and new sources of materials and services. Suppliers were given the opporturity to purchase a link from this website to their own home page.

What about your key Suppliers? NAPM-SFV needs your help. Please ask your key Suppliers to attend next years May 15, 2013 Supplier Night event. Attendance by your key Suppliers will give your key Suppliers an opportunity to network with Supply Chain and Supplier Management professionals from various companies. Every year our Supplier Night event helps sponsor our scholarship fund, so we can help support a deserving student's education.
NAPM-SFV SCHOLARSHIP
NAPM-SFV offers a scholarship to a deserving student enrolled in, or already attending, college to obtain a degree in a business discipline. To compete for this scholarship, the student must provide recent grade transcripts, produce two recommendations and write a short essay containing insight concerning goals and achievements which qualify that individual to receive this scholarship money. Several schools in the San Fernando Valley are contacted to assist NAPM-SFV find a deserving student recipient. Member’s friends, children and grandchildren are welcome to apply.
